பைபிளில்(ஹிப்றேவ் பதிப்பில் ) இடம்பெற்ற (TAMMUZ )"தமிழ்" என்ற கடவுளின் உருவத்தை இங்கே நாம் பார்கலாம். இந்த உருவத்தை உற்று பார்த்தால் அது நாம் வணங்கும் தமிழ் கடவுளான "முருகனை" போலவே இருக்கிறது. நாம் அவரை தமிழ் கடவுள் என்றே அழைப்போம் . அதே போல் பைபிள் வாசகத்தில் அவர் காட் தமிழ்(God Tammuz) என்று குறிப்பிட படுகிறார். அவர்கள் இந்த கடவுள் வாழ்க்கைக்கான செழிப்பை தரும் கடவுளாக கருதுகிறார்கள்.

Tammuz "தமிழ்" is the month of July in Iraqi Arabic and Levantine Arabic (see Arabic names of calendar months).
bible verses:
